Habitat for Humanity (a nonprofit ecumenical Christian Ministry) was founded in 1976, by Linda and Millard Fuller.

Habitat for Humanity welcomes people of all backgrounds, races and religions to join in sharing a unique and rewarding experience. Working together, side by side, building homes in partnership with families in need.

Doris Valinti and Thora Martinez were greeted by a caravan of 30 volunteers from First Christian Church, in Kearny, Mo. who recently arrived in Trinidad to help with the construction of the new duplex. The soon to be homeowners will contribute 500 hours of sweat equity into the building of thier new home, which is located at 310 and 312 Third St.
